How matching alerts are controlled and what changes when production email is configured.
What preferences control
Digest preferences decide whether TenderReader can send scheduled tender shortlists, instant alerts, and deadline reminders for your profile. They work with your sector, CPV, region, and value settings.
If production email is not configured in the current environment, the product records the preference and uses a console fallback instead of pretending a real email was delivered.
Tune before sending
Use profile tuning first, then adjust digest frequency. That keeps alerts useful instead of broad.
