What TenderReader can read, what to do with scans, and why some packs need re-exporting before analysis.
Files you can upload
TenderReader accepts PDF, DOCX, XLSX, and zip files that contain those document types. Zip uploads are expanded and unsupported entries are skipped with a clear message.
Password-protected or scanned PDFs can block text extraction. If a PDF is image-only, export it with OCR from your PDF tool or ask the buyer for a text-readable copy before relying on the brief.
What to do next when a file fails
Check the file opens locally, remove password protection if you are allowed to, and upload the original buyer document rather than a screenshot. If the pack includes drawings or image appendices, keep them for manual review and use TenderReader for the text-readable files.
