What changes matching

Your profile gives the matcher its first idea of fit: sector, keywords, CPV codes, regions, contract value range, and excluded work. A narrow profile usually creates fewer but clearer matches.

If the shortlist is noisy, remove generic keywords, add buyer language you actually bid for, and check whether the CPV area is too broad.

When to retune

Retune after a no-bid pattern emerges. If several poor matches share the same word, region, or value band, change the profile rather than ignoring the same issue every week.
