How source evidence works
How TenderReader uses source passages, confidence labels, and missing-source states.
What source evidence is
Source evidence is the passage TenderReader used to support a field in the brief. When the source is available, the page, file, and quoted span help you check the model output against the original pack.
A source link is not a guarantee that the recommendation is complete. It is an audit trail so you can verify the important fields faster.
When evidence is missing or weak
If a field has low confidence, no source span, or an unknown status, treat it as a prompt to review the buyer documents yourself.
The current production default remains conservative unless model gates pass. TenderReader is decision support, not legal, procurement, financial, or professional advice.
